Early Summer 2026

Summer brings a special energy to our grounds. With nearby pools, splash pads, and lakes just a short drive away, guests and neighbors are soaking up the season; and we love sharing in the fun. Whether it’s a quick stop for a cool treat on the way home or welcoming volunteers from local churches and schools, our doors are always open. There’s something truly special about doubling the joy when friends join us for service and play.
This June, that spirit came to life with Hoban High School’s JAM (Justice And Ministry) program. Two groups of 4–5 students, each accompanied by an adult volunteer, dedicated three days (9:30 AM–3:30 PM) to supporting our community. They tackled indoor and outdoor cleaning, organized supplies, and spent quality time playing with our guests. The highlight? A sunny day at Firestone Community Park, where everyone soaked up the splash pad and playground together.
Programs like JAM remind us that service isn’t just about what we do; it’s about who we do it with. Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and community members for making summer a season of connection, care, and fun!
